Terms & Conditions
Last updated August 25, 2026
These terms govern your use of Snappy, an AI companion app for talking things through, planning your day, staying motivated, capturing notes and tracking how you feel. By using Snappy you are entering into an agreement with the seller identified below.
Seller identity
Snappy is operated by Hayden Montes, an individual sole proprietor, trading as Snappy. The seller's place of business is Nebraska, USA. In these terms, "Snappy", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Hayden Montes.
1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or continuing to use Snappy, you agree to these terms. If you use Snappy on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it. If you are an individual, you confirm you are of legal age to enter a contract where you live.
2. What Snappy is (and is not)
Snappy is a supportive conversational companion powered by third-party AI models. It is not a therapist, doctor, crisis line, or provider of medical, legal or financial advice. If you are in danger or in crisis, contact your local emergency services.
3. Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password, PIN and device unlock methods confidential.
- You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
4. Acceptable use and misuse
You must not:
- Use Snappy for anything unlawful, or to harm, harass or exploit anyone.
- Commit fraud, send spam, or resell or redistribute access to the service.
- Infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Interfere with the security of the service — no malware, probing, scraping, reverse engineering, or circumventing usage limits such as the free daily message quota.
- Generate illegal content, sexual content involving minors, deepfakes of real people, hate speech or malware, or attempt to jailbreak the underlying AI models.
5. AI content, inputs and outputs
- You are responsible for what you type or say to Snappy, for having the rights to any content you provide, and for how you use anything Snappy produces.
- AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. Verify anything important, and never rely on it as professional advice without qualified human oversight.
- You keep the rights to your own inputs. Subject to these terms, you may use the outputs Snappy generates for you, including your notes and journal entries.
- We may remove, restrict, filter or refuse content that breaks these terms. If you believe content in Snappy infringes your rights, contact us and we will review and act; repeat infringement can result in account termination.
6. Licence and our intellectual property
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Snappy within the plan you have selected. We retain ownership of the service and all related intellectual property, including our software, models integration, branding and documentation. You grant us a limited licence to host and process your content solely to operate the service for you.
7. Service availability
We work hard to keep Snappy running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Features may change, and voice or AI features may depend on your browser, device and third-party providers. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Plans, payment and billing
Snappy has a free tier and a paid subscription, Snappy Plus, billed monthly or yearly. Checkout, billing, renewals, invoicing and tax are handled by Stripe, which acts as Merchant of Record for our orders and provides transaction-level billing support. Charges may appear on your statement as “LINK.COM* SNAPPY”. Payment, billing, renewal, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Stripe’s consumer terms. Our own refund commitment is set out in our Refund Policy.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You can stop using Snappy and delete your data at any time from Settings. When your access ends, you may export your chats, notes and journal beforehand; after a reasonable period we delete or anonymise your remaining data.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including lost profits, data or goodwill. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where it cannot lawfully be excluded. You agree to indemnify us for claims arising from your content or your unlawful or non-compliant use of Snappy.
11. Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska and the United States, and disputes are subject to the courts of Nebraska. You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign ours in a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. Questions?
